1. Who We Are

EduiQo ("we", "our", "us") is a Institution ERP platform operated from India. We provide software services to educational institutions. Our registered email is info@eduiqo.com.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect information you provide when signing up: institution name, contact name, email address, and phone number. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. We do not collect sensitive personal data (financial, medical, or biometric data). Attendance is tracked digitally via QR code or manual entry — we do not process biometric data (fingerprints, facial recognition, etc.) on the platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) provide and improve the EduiQo platform, (b) send transactional emails (account setup, invoices, product updates), (c) respond to support requests, and (d) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to any third party.

4. Data Storage & Location

Institution data is stored on servers hosted via Railway (cloud provider) in their available regions. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). Some features use Google Cloud / Gemini AI for AI Copilot responses — data included in AI queries may be processed on Google's infrastructure. We aim to keep primary data within India and disclose any cross-border processing in our sub-processor list below.

5. Student Data

Student data entered into EduiQo by your institution is owned by your institution. We process it only on your behalf and in accordance with your instructions as the data controller. We do not use student data for any purpose other than providing the service.

6. Third-Party Services (Sub-processors)

We use the following third-party services to provide the platform: Razorpay (payment processing, India), Railway/cloud provider (hosting, India-region preferred), Google Cloud / Gemini AI (AI Copilot features), Meta WhatsApp Business API (WhatsApp messaging), and optionally Sentry (error tracking) and PostHog (analytics). Each provider has its own privacy policy. We ensure data processing agreements are in place where required.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for remembering your settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@eduiqo.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

11. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA)

As a Data Fiduciary, we process personal data only for the purposes described in this policy. If unresolved, complaints may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.
